Teens 2 Vote on Name!

Last week I told you about my trip to a garage sale where I ended up with a new mouth to feed. And for a little mouth, it’s always open and ready for food! And until we vote on a name, he’s just known around here as “Puppy.”

So, I took Puppy to his new puppy training class where he showed me just how scared he could be of new places, people, and other dogs. He tried to get into my Mom’s purse at one point. The only thing that kept him out in the forefront was treats. Yes, that little fella will do just about anything for a treat!

Big as a Shoe

We’re working on potty training, where Pup’s doing pretty well, and he gets so excited because every time he does his “business” outside, he gets a treat. Now that’s excitement! So he has a few accidents in the house, but I just tell him gently that next time we’ll go outside. Then I make sure the carpet is completely soaked up well in a towel or rag, wiped up good, then I spray an odor neutralizer on it so he won’t look for that same place to go again. I also sneak in a bit of sanitizer, not that I’m a germaphobe or anything.

We’re also working on “sit” and “watch me.” Pup has that “watch me” thing down good – he never takes his eye off the treat I raise to my nose. Sit… now that’s another story. If it was dance around and look cute, then he’d have it down.

So, to sum it all up, he’s doing well in training and his name’s still Puppy. So what I need each of you to do now is vote on the names we’ve received from y’all so Snoozle, Rhaya’s dog, will have a name for her baby brother.

And the suggestions are: 1) Jax 2) Tiki 3) Hombre 4) Zeus 5) Tsar. Okay, okay, I see most of the names, but Zeus and Tsar, for such a tiny dog? I love it!

I’ll let you know next week what Pup’s new name is. Oh, that last pic is at my Gramm’s house where she has 1 big and 2 little dogs; well, not little to him lol.
