Okay, so we were driving around a few days ago and saw a Garage Sale sign, so we decided even though it was hot outside, it might be kinda fun to take a look. You know the old adage, “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” I’d been to a few garage sales in the past and found a few awesome things that I just had to have. That’s when you pretend they’re not awesome so you can talk down the price.
It didn’t look so great, some old costume jewelry, an old oil lantern, antique I might add, and some stuffed animals that looked like they’d seen better days. Then I saw a box by a small pile of cantaloupe, so went to see if there was anything good in it.
I couldn’t believe what I saw! A puppy that looked to be about 6 weeks old alone in the box. I looked at him, he looked at me, and it was instant love. So…the reaction of the two of us, along with Rhaya making over him, made it really hard to talk down the price of him. But, I did and I got myself a 2 ½ month old baby Chihuahua!
Snoozle was excited to get a baby brother…at first. Then she got a bit jealous, then just plain tired of him. He absolutely loves Snoozle and she just tolerates him. What about my cat? Well…the puppy keeps trying to play with Jax but she doesn’t want any of that. So, for now we’re all getting used to each other.
