If someone was to say panic, what’s the first thing you think of? Maybe a friend’s reaction when he discovers someone just ate the last burrito? Or maybe a crowd running away from an exploding car, or something like that. Well, this kind of panic is none of these!
So if it’s not a situation what is it? What do I think of when someone says panic? Of course as a teenager, I think of music – I think of Panic! at the Disco!
Panic! at the Disco displays a strange excitement in their videos, and with their unique sound brings to life such deep lyrics. And who can resist that smooth voice and style of Brendon Urie?
I happened to be listening to Death of a Bachelor a few days ago when my great grandmother walked by. She asked me all about the group and the song, so I showed her the video. She said Brendon reminded her of a singer back in her day by the name of Frank Sinatra. I got curious so pulled him up on YouTube and listened to one of his songs. His voice was smooth, and by his photos I could tell he had a certain style about him.
So…I have a couple of videos for you. I’m sure you know the first one, live on Conan. The second one is Fly Me to The Moon by Frank Sinatra. Compare the two and let me know what you think. Use either the comments or click on Contact Us at the bottom of the screen.
I’ll be seeing ya, Marisal
